Thank you Scotty. I replied on your diary.

Getting quite excited now with only a week to go ?

Thoughts of Santa's reindeer running thru the snow

On my note to santa

I said no gifts for me

But please support all gamcare friends

In staying gamble free

3 days to Christmas and so excited think I might explode ???.

Will be on the pier with binoculars 5-30 ish hoping to see the Great Conjunction of Jupiter & Saturn.

Some cloud obscured it last night which was when we officially entered the Age Of Aquarius but might be clearer tonight.

The start of the new age which will focus on compassion, control and camaraderie.

No more wars and the peoples of the world will learn to live in harmony and treat the universe, the world and everything on it with love, support and kindness.

Love and best wishes to everyone on the diaries.

We were lost but are now trying to find our way home.

Thank you Stace.

Always good to see you supporting others in the chatroom.

Plenty of wisdom, camaraderie and understanding friends in there which makes me feel a part of something bigger and stronger than I am by myself.

As daft as it may seem I still do not understand gambling addiction but maybe one day it will all make sense to me.

Take care dear friend.

Be positive and keep your chin up.

Thank you Stace ???.

Hope you are having a good day.

Hello Diary.

A good day but every day is good nowadays.

Retired and living the dream.

Gamble free for several months with no concerns around money.

Many many years since I abused my body with cigarettes or alcohol and I have never taken drugs.

Fortunate to be able to enjoy a healthy and nutritious vegetarian diet.

Exercising daily, going for walks and trying to maintain a level of fitness.

COPD is my biggest concern but keeping lungs exercised.

Frozen shoulder limiting movement in left arm but taking tablets from Holland & Barrett and hoping it gets better.

Life is an adventure and I am determined to make every second count.

Had a great walk this afternoon.

It was chucking it down with rain but I love that when I am wearing waterproofs..

Clears my head and helps me to think straight.

Life is good.

Two more sleeps to Christmas.

Lets rock n roll ???

Thank you Scotty. I know how you feel because my sibling is the same. Don't get angry dear friend just take it on the chin. Stand up tall and be proud of what you have achieved.

We all know the gambling was a big mistake but it was in the past and that is where it will stay.

Hello Diary.

Gamble free Christmas has been excellent.

Made myself some tasty snacks and enjoyed some good walks.

Love and best wishes to everyone.

Gamblers all around

Of every shape and size

Confused and deluded

Tired of all the lies

Lucky ones find Gamcare

And work on their recovery

With kindly gamcare friends

Who really are quite luvverly

Problems do not go away

When one is gamble free

But they can be well managed

When we have eyes that see

Love and best wishes to everyone.

From.

Greatly appreciate your post Lou but think I am the one who should be thanking you for being my friend and supporting me over the last year.

Was thinking about you earlier when I read an article in the news telling of the trauma nursing staff are experiencing on hospital wards and how they are having to work extremely hard in very difficult circumstances.

For NHS staff like yourself who have other issues to contend with it must be far far worse and I have the greatest respect and admiration for the way you have bravely battled on in the face of adversity.

Please don't leave us because you are a well loved member of the gamcare community and I feel honoured and privileged to be walking by your side.

Love and best wishes.
