Hi Sandra... and good to read that your in a good place at the moment and best of all... "no gambling".
Thanks for your timely support recently... it has helped to pull myself away from the devil once more and get back to recovery.
Here's to a great new year. Warm regards... S.A
Hi Sandra,
Well done on getting through Christmas, and hope those long shifts aren't proving too tiring for you! I'm sure they're not, you seem to have boundless energy, and are far tougher than I could be when it comes to those overnight shifts.
Hope you're looking forward to a positive New Year, and continuing to forge that gamble free path going in the right direction. So glad for your support in 2014, and thank you very much for walking this journey with so many of us.

Hey all and thank you for your kind words and wishes xxx
A little update from me since i find less and less to say on these pages. No more rambles for you to read Đ²Â˜Ñ”
So New year just round the corner. Few new year resolutions in place which hopefully will strengthen my resolve to stay clean.
Not looking too far ahead (Shiny with other soldiers did a good job brainwashing me into one day at a time mantra lol..bless, it works)
Taking it steady and with more logical thinking. Urges comes and goes but as always they are just harmless thoughts and as long as i don't act on them, I'm safe.
Some worrying news from bk home which put my head in overdrive so as much as i hate flying i will be on that plane some time at the beginning of this year to prevent more regrets surfacing in my life ahead...
anyway, back to gambling...no gambling - no problem. And other problems seems smaller and not so scary, manageable for sure đŸ™‚
All new soldiers on here, keep up the good work. This addiction is evil but YOU can turn things around. As many things in life, we cannot do it by ourselves, accept the help and support, like minded people on here are God send. There is a light at the end of the tunner, and you my friends are in possession of that bulb to let the light shine on the way. Yes it gets dimmed sometimes, but nothing is easy in this life and that light can beam again if ya want it.all in your hands.
Take care, stay safe and embrace the journey ahead. It will only get better.
Happy new year!
Love, peace, happiness

Hi Sandra,
Thanks again for the post earlier in the week. Hope everything is alright back home at your end as well. I can certainly relate to the brain being in overdrive. Do what you need to do but I'm going to give back the same advice you gave to me, look after yourself and stay strong.
Thinking of you

Hi Sandra,
Sorry to read that you've had some bad news from back home, hope your family over there are as okay as they can be, and that you can provide all the support you can. Remember not to overlook yourself though, keep looking after yourself too and try not to let the stress lead to those thoughts that guide you in the wrong way. Stress is such a big trigger point, but you sound as though you might have that one under control at the moment. Anything I can do, let me know.

Hey all and thanks for dropping by.
Dear diary,
Been a while since i posted. Pleased to report all is good and no gambling since my last post.
Just back from the run and almost 10 miles done. Feeling good and maybe a little tired but that's ok, no pain no gain as they say đŸ™‚
Still a lot on my mind, still looking for the way forward and finding a solution to be a little kinder to myself. Lots of things in place, only need to put them into action. Was thinking of booking holiday this year. Still reasoning with myself cause not sure what to prioritise. I guess it's just a way of finding the middle.
So all is ok overall. Change the pic on here and now thinking if gonna come across as a s**t lol lol..aweee...girls gotta do what they gotta do to have some fun on birthdays đŸ˜€
Ok, enough blabbing me thinks. Most importantly am safe from this evil addiction...even if only for today - still a progress đŸ™‚
Hope all my friends are doing well and even if i don't post a lot recently i still touch the base and have a read...a lot of new faces, sad and good to see that..people wants to change their life..here and now is a good start.
Do miss my gang from early last year...laughs, debates and all what comes with sharing recovery...but i guess recovery is a selfish act and we all go our ways and choosing what is most suitable for us individually.
thoughts are with all of you, may freedom stays by your side dear soldiers xxxxx
On a last note...this tune stuck in my head while running today...do relate to a lot of it..lol..mainly cause feel like going crazy sometimes which is ok lol..It's just me..square peg in this world đŸ™‚
Stay safe all,
Peace out
S xxxxxx
Hi Sandra,
I'm so glad you found that pic of when you met up with me and Duncan, and chose to put it as your profile pic! :-P I miss my bow-tie...
Well done for keeping on the straight and narrow, I'd book that holiday and give yourself something to look forward to, its a good motivation to keep on the right track, I definitely found it useful last year. Well done on the run today, even the thought of running ten miles is making me tired!
Keep it up!

Hi Sandra,
Thanks for your kind post on my diary - much appreciated.
Glad to hear you're doing well, and 10 miles is a great distance to run.....must be murder in those heels mind!! ;0)
Keep strong
