Hey all,

Thank you for your kind words.
So what's happening in little Sandra's world. Hmmm..not much lol ....but at the same time hell of a lot. Peeling more layers of that onion and piecing myself as a person together. Picture so far is very muddled up, but Rome wasn't build in a day eh!
Taking a step back from posting and so far so good. Do read but not as obsessively as before. Talking about gambling took me too close to that line i have drawn to myself and i started feeling pressure again. This is normal in recovery i guess and finding the balance between your own life and past gambling life is work in progress for me.

Just come bk "home" before xmas and not sure if i log in on here again this year. I prob will lol..but hey, staying on a safe side and wishing you all the best this Xmas and coming New Year.
Each and every one of you making change in this world and that's the gift we all should be happy to accept for ourselves.

Keep up the good work, and so sorry if i missed some of you on your treads, my soul is with you during this festive season.

Love, peace, happiness

Sandra xxxx

ps. No gambling....ohhhh and that can only be a good thing 😀 loving it!

Hi Sandra,

Great to hear you are making progress, even if some of that is difficult, and I know that not gambling is going to making a big difference in allowing you to make that progress. Even if you don't read this again before the New Year, I hope you have an amazing Christmas and New Year, and that those sentiments of love, peace and happiness are there for you too.

Thank you all,

Dear diary. Reflecting on my journey today. (Must b xmas time lol) Ohh..what a journey so far!
So many ups and downs, tears, smiles and smashed up hopes...but am still standing.
I have learned so much about myself, this addiction and life all together during my time on these pages. I have met so many wonderful souls on here i can proudly call my friends/sisters/brothers. No matter if i speak to you every day or once in two months, each and everyone of you have made a significant change in my life - for the better.
Something i have kicked about for the whole year and didn't want to admit. I accept this home true now more than ever - we will never get cured but we shall never give up trying to distance ourselves from this horrible addiction. We have today and this day is a turning point in our lives.

I know that no matter if you're on day one or day 500....the devil will sit there patiently waiting to pounce at any given moment.

I type this, cause i want to show you dear addiction, yes...you are here and full of life looking for the way to break my defences at this time. Will i let you? Am i f**k!!! Lol

Kick about as much as you like and shall greet you with a smile on my face with few words to boot - i will not gamble today and i will be kind to myself cause i am human being and even tho i am not perfect and am square peg in society i am giving my d**n best to wake up tomorrow and tell you the same. I am what i am and i am more than greatful for this opportunity to fight this never ending battle.

Right...my lovely post turned into rant lol..but hey...it is what it is and that's just how i feel today.
Greatful for finding recovery in my life with wonderful souls attached to it.

Thank you for reading
The choice i make today will see me through to peaceful tomorrow

Day at a time

(((((((All))))))))
