Sandra, my dear soldier, I always seem to feel like you do a lot more of the supporting than I do. Those rock bottom experiences are truly grim, god knows I've been there myself, and as I tend to lose control fairly late night, the zombie experience the next day is never great. I'm not sure that deep cleaning is being kind to yourself, but if it works, then I say keep doing it. Holidays are tough, as we need them to rest, but the idle time gives time for the demon to worm its way in.
Drowning in the depression, I know that far too well too. I'm glad you got through today well, and hope you can keep embracing the good times such as taking your nephew to the cinema.

keep up the good work and thanks for your ongoing support. My little cat passed away today but she was painfree and had been ill for a while so I was expecting it. Mostly before today I have grown in strength and determination since the split and will continue to do so. Hope you enjoyed last night...and I'm sure you're not the first to get changed in the toilets at a services! The thought of doing sand angels sounds like so much fun, I think I'd have to start mine on a quiet beach with nobody around rather than in a resort beach as I'm too self conscious!
I'm glad to see you've been in a better place over the last few days, and the more of those we get, the better it is going to be. Only we can make those choices, and we know the right ones to make too!

Hi Sandra... and hope your trip to see your friend went well and glad to read that your in a generally positive frame of mind.
As for driving I use to do loads of it in my last job, suffered badly with drivers arm lol... One red, one white.
Also ive read on some news site about a chap in usa who decided to set a fire work off on his head... killed instantly he was. Not a clever idea. Anyway hope the fireworks went well.
