Happiness
Topics not about walking although that does give me joy it's more about general happiness
I don't know if it's just me but without going into the CJS side, I don't feel I can or can be seen to be happy in public in case I see someone I've harmed. I have no problem in being happy at home with my family or in recovery meetings but I've not played golf for 7 months now which is unheard of for me. I don't want to be seen smiling on a golf course as if everything is ok.
Hi Stuart sorry haven't been on chatroom recently as so much going on with family issues and I get to 3 or 4 weeks and go backwards, but hopefully life will settle down soon and I can focus again on sticking to the path of happiness. I would like to suggest that you go out there, play golf and with the biggest smile that you have as you've have done so brilliantly to have achieved the what you've achieved and to get this far you deserve to be smiling fully and playing golf. If you feel u might stumble across anyone you've hurt you've made your peace and it's up to them if they wish to harbor unforgiveness which is self destructive when you've most likely apologised for past actions anyway. Don't stop living your life, you must go out there smile be happy and hopefully the world will smile with you otherwise it's their problem I personally think. We've all had enough years of being miserable with gambling so time to smile if not for others then for yourself. Be proud of what you've achieved. Happiness comes from within, no one can make us happy, it has to come from within us. So do what makes you feel happy but don't feel restricted by other people's reactions as there will always be people that upset us and you derve to smile and feel happy again. Will catch up soon on chatroom. 🙂 JennyjÂ
CERTAINLY PEOPLE MAKE
MISTAKES IN THEIR LIFE. I'M NO DIFFERENT, IVE MADE MISTAKES. WHEN PEOPLE MESS UP, FORGIVE THEM. WHEN I MESS UP, I ASK FOR FORGIVENESS.
