Dear all thank you sooooo much for your posts .

Been a bit under the weather (cold) , and these 4am starts have not helped .

1 hr left laters in the shop , other than that , one more sleep.Then I am offskies : Brought lots of nice things , to bath in etc.

Brought what looks like a c r a c king series to watch on iPad . ( breakout kings like prison break if your interested ) brought enough food to feed an army for my family ;( so they should not sarve whist I am away ) My sister coming tomorrow to see my dad and again during the week..

Do not know if I will take a gamcare holiday , we will see. Probs read , and I suppose it will depend on how I feel , and what I read ......

BUT if we all abstain , have no crisis in the next week , i get no urges which are unlightly as i am in the middle of no where , with the weather forecast looking dismal it is most probable I will be holed up in my room for a week .

I may well give posting a rest .......

So tonight I am here , thought I would write a nightly blogg , about my chill axe holiday for two reasons ,

1, no matter what we think or believe we are vulnerable . And staying close to this site may well be one of my tools to stay clean this week.

2 , hoped I could bring a few smiles to people faces , cause I think many of us we be feeling tonight just that little bit more somber .

So I arrived at my hotel , pouring with rain . Got informed , they had upgraded me to a suite. Bloody marvellous , lovely room separate lounge , terrace , 2 sinks in the bathroom , fidge , how good is that .....

Furthest room away from reception, neighbours on one side only , oh so quiet . (well except when the fridge buzzes) but that ok turned it off lol

But guess what ......very poor Internet coverage , hmmmmm do I stay or do I go .

Well I stayed , in the main lounge now posting .

Had my dinner , it was ok , not as good as the last time I stayed here, must be 8 couples in that restaurant , billy no mates , sat there alone ( I know I wanted that ) but looked a bit sad to the on lookers I suspect . Texting on my iPad . ( how rude lol)

So back in the lounge with coffee and pud and posting away to you all.

Must be the only single person ( well not single but on there own) in this hotel.

Reminds me of a post I read earlier , who cares what people think , it's my holiday , it's up to me how I spend it . ( thanks CarlXxxx)

Ok catch up with you all tomorrow , off to watch last nights xfactor on catch up , spect tears and tribulations , sorry Duncs .

thanks for your comments as usual you speak so much truth. on the holiday front its not a popularity contest its about getting away from the norm , everday life and also this what i like to call disease"gambling" so eat some more pudding, drink some more coffee, watch x-factor, its your holiday and you paid for it so why should it matter to anyone else. when we were gambling i spent hours avoiding people and going out so from that point of view you have come leaps and bounds.

as you can probably tell i have now hit the middle lane!!

Enjoy being a recluse and doing whatever you want this holiday...

The great Agatha Christie used to park herself in hotels alone and people watch, often coming up with some of her best crime and murder stories based on the guests staying there...lol

Anyway ..just think of all those couples intrigued as to who you are and why your alone...thats far more interesting....

Chillax and hope you can get a better signal...try standing on a stool and hanging out of the window....I tend to flick airplane mode off and on a few times and it seems to boot my ipad up ...lol

I was just thinking when u said everybody else in the dining room wer in couples id say a few of them are thinking to themselves that they wish they were on their own like you beause their partner is doing their head in haha.

Well to be honest not feeling too great today . Nothing to do with gambling . Had that cold last week , and have not been well since.

Think I may have bronchitis , or a chest infection. Got up feeling really breathless this morning . Now I would rather be here than working , so in the respect it's good , slept well last night , then again for 4 hours this afternoon , so have no doubt will feel better by the time I go home . And if not will need to go to the docs . But we will worry bout that if the time comes .

Was planning to go on a little jaunt tomorrow but that will depend on how I feel in the morning and the weather . If I go need to be on my guard , strange town , money in my pocket , you know the script .

But I knew this when I decided to go away , can no longer not take a holiday to avoid situations like this ....

But like I said , may not go anyway .

On a lighter note , was the only one in that restaurant tonight ,,,,,,,, was it me or the food that frightened off lol
