Morning Shiny,
Thanks for the post! Some days I feel like a member of the chain gang on the side of the road picking up trash in yellow bags.. đŸ˜€ I will take any lane that's moving thank you very much!! đŸ˜€ You go girl! -joanxxxxxx
Hi shiny
So good to see ur ok and hear from u , its been all a bit strange for me this last couple of weeks ur presence was sorely missed it was like the site slowed down in ur absence , gave me loads of food for thought about my own recovery
It really shows how every recovery is different and there's no right or wrong way in how we do it , hopefully the outcome will be the same and all go on to lead better lives
All I can say for me its great to see u postin again and pleased u had some time just for u puttin no 1 1st and rightly so , ease ur way back in don't pressurise urself , u know how much respect u av on here and always will
Take care catch up more soon

It made me even happier that things r getting better 4 u đŸ™‚
U deserve nothing but happiness đŸ™‚
Have a gr8 nite xxxxxxx
Hey Shiny...
Not sure where you are in your head and heart right now...
I was thinking back to the days of the ledge and how some of us used to cycle about every 4-5 weeks...
That kind of stopped for ages didnt it?
I thought about that today and how in earlier recovery we were all are very sensitive and could get knocked very easily...
Today I think we still can go down a bit but the gaps between those downs seem to get longer and we bounce back faster.
Glad to see you back Shiny....progress is all we need even if we have off days along the way. ;-0)
you know the word..
Grease!
lol....Unconditional...xx

Yo,
Rach I was thinking that myself , that the length between these low periods and my middle has most defo lengthened over time .
The extreme high to low seems a thing of the past , but I recon even when your middling , every now and again someone in a bumper gives you a nudge and their you are back in the slow lane .
But like so many have said , taking that slower pace , concentrating on yourself and taking a long hard look at yourself , is not a bad thing . People like me just need a rest bite every now and again .
I am most defo getting there , everyday life seems more manageable , and today I was smiling and laughing . So be prepared you lot , Once Shinys back to full strength , the insane banter will once again appear on your threads . And recon will be about time to branch out and spread a bit of Shiny polish on a few diaries that I have not visited yet .
Till then have a great weekend , a bit early I know . But you know me always the early bird lol

hey shiny...
yep....taking pitstop or a crawl in the slow lane aint so bad as you know despite bumps you can accelarate again...
You know another life now and have real choice as you have lived both sides....both lanes.
looking forward to more insane banter...as we know insanity and genuis are only a hairsbreath apart... ; )
R and D xx
Lovely last post, Shiny.
It's all about being there to help others but there is only one important person out there...
...and that's you.
Keep looking after yourself and remain positive in this shiny recovery journey of yours!
NT
Your definitely the master of some insane banter!
Glad to see you smiling and laughing that's what we wanna be hearing as much as possible.
Have a great weekend.
Yo Shiny,
Better to be in the slow lane moving along with caution than in the fast lane careering along and about to crash.
Have a great weekend also. Regards... S.A đŸ™‚
Yo,
Oh so true mr SA, not that I really want to spend my life in the slow or fast lane for tooooo long .
Even keel , if there's one thing that I have learnt from this site over the last year , is that for me personally and for quite a few others , the middle lane is the place to be .

Heya Shiny,
How are you this evening? I hope everything is going well for you my awesomeness! Thank you for your great post on my diary recently. You alway's make me smila and was one of the first to help me through my bad times when I first came on here.
SO hold your head up high because you were part of saving me from this madness called gambling.
Thank YOU!

Morning,
I often think when Shiny is happy and active, the site is happy and active! That is not a pressure thing in any way at all just respect for how valued and popular you are on this site!
Wonderful to see you inching back to that middle lane it's lovely and peaceful but I have missed your company!
Flagg
Yo,
Oh this site does put a smile on my face .
Jungle Pete temping us all with that fry up, Rach divulging she was once a mortician .
Steve swimming the channel in at his locl baths , no greese fat required then lol.
And Flag and Duncs almost daring you not to be unlifted by their positivity .
And then to top it off , so very many getting through another Saturday without spending one penny on feeding their addiction .
This site like life has its ups and downs . It seems full of people , on the up , and you know the old saying behaviour breeds behaviour . đŸ™‚
So to one and all thank you , another foot closer to my middle , than I was before I logged on here today đŸ™‚
