For what it's worth your current situation if it feels right for you then it's right. We can pay our debts ten fold and still maybe not feel we have done enough. At the end of the day we have to forgive ourselves and live our life.

Thanks for ur post it came at the perfect time , think I was lookin for a bit of reassurance from someone who would understand and ur words of wisdom spoke volumes

As with ur own quest its true only u know what u need to do and only u can make it happen , wisely though u log ur thoughts for ur own benefit , these diaries are such a fantastic tool and played a massive part of both of our recoveries

Jess still thinks the act with the shadows is the best so far on bgt,David Makes her laugh so much which for me is amazing to see

Things have taken an upturn in the last few days .

Shiny is defo getting closer to the middle lane .

Yep still got all my problems , which will not go away anytime soon. But feel much more accepting of it all .

Today dare I say I feel happy , which I could not say for the last 6 weeks .

My dear friend Mr B has finally managed to help me to see things in a far more positive light . ( along with the words of wisdom from my gamcare buddies)

Know I am by no way out of the woods , but everyday starting to feel that I am just that little bit more capable to deal with what's ever fallout my decisions result in .

But more than anything know that these were the right decisions , so no more guilt 🙂

Couldn't agree more with feeling no more guilt I felt that way for the last few years on many fronts , letting go just like Rachaels title me her diary is another important step to take

Ur life is just bout to begin setting off on a new adventure yes there's things that need to be sorted but that 1st massive step that u made will allow u to do that no more feeling trapped , life is for living and enjoying and its so easy to forget bout that with all our troubles

It will only go one way from here on in , small steps to be taken each day , I always look at my life like a jigsaw moving the pieces round till it fits with generally one piece missing I believe that piece will come for both of us one day

But today is today embrace it enjoy it sometimes we all take it for granted there will be another , ur doin a brave wonderful thing and I'm so proud of u its an honour to share ur journey

Thanks for your post as always. It has been a real wake up call for me this week. I cannot believe how easily I was drawn in this week. I must have watched about , 30 videos online with this guy playing and talking about roulette and within two days the urges were right on top of me. Add to that I haven't smoked in six weeks without any worries and tonight I am going out for a meal and drinks with my wife and I haven't been able to get the thought of smoking out of my head for the past two days. For two days I have wanted to play roulette and smoke, which are the two very things that I am trying so desperately hard to erradicate from my life. Life sure is challenging.

I trust all is well with you and hope that that continues.

Also glad things are turning out better for you shiny. You've been through a lot of emotional upheaval as of late but you've faced it all. I know you'll come through the other side and find true happiness one way or the other.

yep ..we have been through some ups and downs ...Mr. P was never on the cards for me sadly ...I aspired to Mr Ordinary and that still didn't happen...lol x

A little known fact is i'm immune to playboys given that I've been playing the same game as them for over 25 yrs ...can't teach an old dog new tricks...Or grandmas how to suck errrr...eggs...lol

When your a playboy yourself (like me) .. You look for someone more innocent you can corrupt..lol ..
