Hi again,

So I have finally installed gamban on all my devices.

Yesterday was the first time I havent gambling in months (but I feel I want too)

I don't know what to do with myself and im finding myself in a very bad mood and shouting at people, is that normal?

Please tell me it gets better 🙏

Hi Rach

I was just like that for week one when I was all over the place but things do get better quickly if you can stay away from gambling

My suggestions and what's worked for me it's to start with build your support network. People you can talk to and things you can do when you need to. Walking really helps with urges, dopamine hits and lowering the volume on radio chaos that has been full volume when gambling.

I would recommend coming on the 8pm chatrooms which are text chat and ask questions for advice etc. Speak to the advisors on here by clicking the speak to someone button bottom right and either live text chat or ring them.... They are amazing

Have you self excluded on Gamstop ?

Have you told friends and family ?

Do you have accountability with someone looking after your bank account or that you show someone ?

Have you put gambling blocks on your bank account ?

Hopefully see you on the chatrooms

Thanks for all the replys ...

I am on gamstop (but there are other ways) I have gambling block on my bank but again (there are other ways)

I am really fighting the urge to not try and remove gamban ...

No one knows my struggles this time but all my family knew before but im not ready to tell anyone yet (apart from stranger's.. lol) .

I tried CBT but didnt like it !!!

I really have tried everything, just hoping I have the will power this time..

Hi Rach

Unless you are a tech wizard if you speak to Gamban they can stop you deleting it. They have a help service and do it all the time . Just remember urges only last for on average five minutes and are like stray cats, if you don't feed them they go away. Not saying they won't come back half an hour later to be fed but if you don't feed them for long enough they get the message. It does get easier every day and ive learnt how much better life is and now I can tackle life on life's terms to steal a GA saying

Try and come to one of the 8pm chatrooms. They really help with motivation and it's just text chat so you can sit back and read if you don't want to talk

@lp5vut869c hey , well I managed another day without gambling ,but its always there in my head, and the hardest part is I could gamble if I wanted, I have the funds to gamble but I want to not gamble because I will end up with nothing so I need to stop before I lose everything... last time it was easier to stop because I didn't have the funds 😕.

Hi Rach

Good move, anything you can use to keep your mind occupied is a good idea. I downloaded some puzzle type games to keep the brain active like magic sort and block blast. Love the things that are fun now that gambling isn't taking up all my time

@lp5vut869c this one's called Royal kingdom ,I downloaded quite a few but this one im enjoying.

Today definitely felt easier than last couple of days 🙏...

Can't believe this is the longest in months I havent played slots everyday.

Last time I downloaded gamban it blocked a game ive played for years (coin master, thats free also) and it was one of the reasons I didn't want to download gamban again,  but I thought if I dont i will lose everything.

Anyways I did download it and guess what !!! I can still play it this time lol which i so think has made it a little easier for me . (Stupid I know)

Ps I did read your latest post -but didnt feel i could comment as im still early to the "party" but you are doing great 👍
