Day 21

My day ran away with itself yesterday so didn’t get to post.

Majorly busy day at work. Was meant to finish at 2 but didn’t get out till 4. Felt it was a good day all round.

Went to Asda and invested in some more Funko pops (little character items) which should generate cash back later down the line.

Bought a new board game or card game called Linkee. Quite a a good game based on 4 questions and the answers link to the 4 answers. Highly entertaining seeing what people thought the original answers where.

All in all a good day.

CJ.

Hey CJ glad to hear you’re still on track :)) well done! I’ve started a recovery diary as of yesterday, so posting there everyday with progress .... I cleaned out wardrobe today and put some bits on eBay... I’d have usually had a spin by now on a Saturday, but I’m hoping to make a few quid rather than lose a load - happy Saturday! Have a great weekend ... Kaz xx

@Kaz that’s a good shout. You are doing well so keep going. Just remember if you do get an urge how you felt when you lost. Keep on smiling you can do it.

Day 22

Another day ran away with itself. Keeping busy at the moment feels like key.

I decided to go the cinema to watch Cold Pursuit. Very much like Taken apparently but on ice.

I experienced some of the best customer service I have had in a long time.

I was looking at my BlueLightCard which said I could pay annually for a pass and get around £60 off. I thought why not. Could I get this? Could I heck. I spoke to the manager in the Odeon and he couldn’t have done more. Sat us down got us a drink and gave us tickets for the showing due to the problem we experienced. Amazing.

Yet another cracking day had gamble free.

Enjoying this kind of memories instead of the ones which give me a buzz then a massive low.

On to day 23 🙂

Again my day ran away with itself. These days are flying by.

Day 23

I ended up going shopping in the morning and then binge watched all of New Amsterdam.

If only the Medical team at the hospital I work at was like them, we’d have a better place.

Good series and need more episodes. 🙂

Keep going everyone and stay strong. Together we can beat this.

Day 24
Wow i get to post this on the right day today.

I have had a pretty amazing day.
I arrived at work and opened up, being the first person in. Had a meeting with the big boss about our futures within the department and what our roles are going to become. I am no further forward with what i will be doing, so will just have to ride it out. Either way i still have a job, and i know deep down i can do anything i set my mind to.

I then arrived home earlier than normal as i was working at the local hospital today. I came in and sorted out bills and build the rest of my server adding hard drives into place. As I waited for it to build i joined the online Chat. Had a great chat with a lot of people who have been in exactly the same boat as everyone else. It is nice to not feel that you are battling this challenge alone.

So day 24, the best so far.

I have my moments @Change. The last 24 days have been pretty good though. A few rough moments but nothing major. Just like hitting a pothole or a bump in the road. 🙂

@Camsmum13 Thanks very much. Glad it helped.
@Stu38 i am doing very well and taking small steps. I feel my mind is being focussed on other areas which is helping massively.

-------
Day 25

I'd like to say that today is one my favourite days of the year.
I love Pancake day.
Sadly these days i have pancakes any day i feel it so it isnt a case of having it as one of my favourite days of the year.

Very busy day today at work which is good. I ended up building a solution for printing wristbands. This ranged from adult wristbands to neonatal bands. Felt very positive with the end result, and the solution so all is going well in the proof of concept. Also started the business case to attempt to get some funding, so its getting there slowly and starting to take shape.

Had a very interesting discussion with the chaps in my immediate team about this place. We got onto talking about a number of peoples stories and how they effected those people and the people around them. I used my creativity to create new names for the pepople such as Guiseppe and Vladimir.

Other than that, it was a pretty productive day. 🙂
