I wish there was a pill you could take to stop this terrible illness/addiction

Evening Anon, thanks for the kind words & the checking up on me 🙂 The lip dragging was purely the relationship with the dog but yep, compared to your little JCB I guess he is behaving 😉

I think your cigarette urges are addiction looking for a weaker point to exploit. I had the same issue with lottery products for a while...My brain knew there was no way I could cave on the fruities so it was hell bent on finding another way to be destructive. "Go on £30 of lottery tickets, won't do you any harm @ all" it said "What are you nuts?" I queried, knowing my idea of bulk buying @ the kiosk was never more than a tenner. Distract yourself when the urges come, they can't hurt you, only giving into them brings pain!

My sleeping is still completely off kilter but I'm calm & very much looking forwards to Christmas having dragged December in kicking & screaming with a Christmas dinner @ Harvester. Frozen roasties, tinned carrots, not exactly cordon bleu cuisine but then not orange chips either & for that I'll raise a glass of fizzy caffeine!

Hi anon.
It's probably the first Christmas I've been organised ever.
I moan every year about how bad the shops are people running round fighting to get presents.
So I thought I would get it done early.

The fitness is going well no news on the runner as of yet. But I bought another one. This one is a bit more manly as the other was a birthday present for the wife and is pink lol if you could see me you would laugh I'm on a pink running machine with pink earphones and a pink phone case thing strapped to my arm? I'll await Alan's response on that one 🙂

I stopped smoking September last year and tbh I don't even think about them anymore. But I do vape so in some way I guess I still smoke sort of?
I still envy smoker's though and love the smell which I can spot a mile away.

It's good to see you don't have urges to much. Mine come and go mostly when I'm doing nothing or have any plans. So I try to keep myself a bit busy. Most on last a minute or 2

Have a great weekend x

Hiya hun thanks for checking up on me :)) hope your not craving the cigs too much stick with it hun cos it's so worth it for your pocket and your health. I wish I'd never started again I had given up and made fatal mistake of 'having just one' so now I've got to give up all over again it's daft. Your doing so well! Giving up smoking and gambling takes some guts and strength that does. Wish you all the best hun I'm still gf :)) Lu xx

Morning early start today and I'm at the start of the 70s now, working my way to my 100 day target. Didn't sleep well last night just sheer volume of work but at least my head is clear of gambling stress from losses. Best wishes to all on remaining gf X

Anon, you are doing brilliantly and I find you an inspiration. I'm not in for hyperbole or exaggeration; I simply know how challenging not gambling can be.

Fantastic to hear you're in the 70s now and you'll be on something like Day 96 come the New Year. You are helping my resolve immensely. Thank you.

Hey Anon!!

Would just like to say how proud I am of you ...catching up on your diary has given me some hope in life after my slip. Mr G has got a lot to answer for. Have to say I'm a little jel I'm not up there with you on the day count. Your frame of mind reminds me of how it feels not to have Mr G around and I want to get back there. Happy 70 days xx
