well day 91/13weeks for me

Bit late tonight cos had 9 mile run

I have to say how much easier the running seems and life in general seems without being pre occupied with placing a bet,I don't need to hide away, make excuses or generally feel rubbish and neglect everyone that means something to me

No gamblings the new gambling

Carl

13 weeks is a great achievement. 9 miles wow, that's class. We did stay in the cinema for a little longer for the warmth, the boiler can't be fixed now until Friday. Got a little portable heater so that'll do.

You're doing great Carl and the way you support others positively is to your credit.

Take care

Steve

9 miles!! Impressive. As is 13 weeks. I know exactly what you mean with the running being easier without gambling. Gambling takes away a lot more than just our money. My motivation vanished when I was gambling, I've started running now and feel great about it, I never would've started if I was still gambling. A gamble free life can bring us anything we want. Keep going Carl your doing great mate.

day 93

Yay its the weekend again. I admit for some reason I got quite strong urges today for some reason I even spent a while trying to convince myself that an odd bet would be ok.

I am glad to say the urges passed and I did not act on them. It just made me realise that I still have to take one day at a time.

Anyway I'm gonna sit and watch layer cake tonight then Sunday I'm off to pub for mates birthday and watch footy

No gamblings the new gambling

Carl

Urges will always come and go and it really is up to us to make all the right choices for ourselves.

Enjoy your weekend.
