Life begins again

Good morning Suzanne sounds like you are doing well. I remember when I was more active on here before you being on my diary at Cetera sometimes just want to drop in and say I'm back in trying to fight this monster again after getting really off course. People who have kicked or are an inspiration.

Good morning diary,

445 today, and it's a good job I have day off, ( working 4 days is great cos I have a long weekend every week lol) because I have been on here for 2 hours now reading and posting. ( with interruptions from the phone hasn't stopped ringing this morning)

Will miss seeing son and LM this weekend as they are all having a lovely time in Sunny Spain(it's only 41% out there phew)

I could/Should have gone with them, but we all know why I couldn't go, GAMBLING, even now there are still lots of stuff I can't do YET because of my selfish addiction, but by being in recovery and staying there as I have every intention of doing so, I will be in a better position next year, Sons partners Mum has gone so naturally it has tugged on my wanting to go too strings, PATIENCE and POSITIVITY are good elements for me to stop the strings from tugging HDs

Soo if the weather is going to be good tomorrow, me OH and doggie of course are going to get up at 5 am to be in Skeggy for 8 am, we deserve a good day out (and let's face it its a lot lot cheaper than my OLD days on online sliots where I did not bat an eyelid on spending the maximum that I could between 300 to 1000 in hours NHDs indeed). Crikey I could have took us all to Spain,

but that's in my past now, recovery is the only sure way forward for me for always, the past is just too painful to go back to, so even if I do look back sometimes, I make sure I don't stare, my rose tinted glasses turned to dried and burnt up tinted roses when the addiction broke my heart 445 days ago,

446 days and Skeggie here we come (again lol) for the day, leaving very shortly as a full day ahead is planned (including the lovely market at Ingomills, but first thing on the agenda when we get their will be a full English at around 8.am at Chapel St Leanards,

Taking swimsuit lol, as I want to brave up and have a swim in the outside pool there, it sure will get rid of any cobwebs,

Hey there not been on here for a while just catching up. Day 446 amazing stuff keep inspiring us all.

Good morning diary,

447 days

Has a lovely full packed day yesterday, everything got done that we wanted to do, Skeggie, Ingomills and then Chapel St leanards,

Even doggie came on heat ohh, Chapel St Leanards is doggie land, but she was too busy enjoying her environment, to even be bothered with other dogs, we even let her off the lead on the beach now, (coz we semi trust her bless her).

Did have a swim in the outside pool, and was very pleased to find it warmish, but it was soo refreshing especially with the warm sun on my back, so all in all was a great long day out, somewhat shattered this morning, but loft has to be sorted out, and another trip or two to the Tip, also we have one viewing this afternoon, fingers crossed they will like it, had a lot of positive feed back from the estate agents, but no offers yet, (patience girl it's only been on the market 9 days)

Ohh nearly forgot diary, nooo thoughts whatsoever to gamble and undo all my hard work, the only thing that crossed my mind when we got home late last night, was how we could have a great long full packed day and spend so little, HDs indeed,
