Thanks FREDA.WORRIED TOMMI and STUMPER ....just a quick update folks..STUMPER good to see you getting a wee bit business your way...LILI ive been in midlothian this week (small world eh) as my dad has had operation to which he is still feeling the after effects.,.FREDA the sauce from the chippys are watered down vinegar and brown (never seen the ketchup variety) sauce lol.CURLY be careful about your race trip if my mind serves me right ADE tried this around the xmas/new year time and it backfired but we re all different mate and i may have a similar adventure come november(al worry boot that then but TINAP and EVANRU have managed bet free hols in massive gambling areas so are inspirational in that way) ....not had much time to post lately but have been reading the odd diary here and there...SEANO and PHIL you are right its difficult to post about gambling on a dailly basis..S.A you could be right in that it relieves the dailly pressures of life posting regular...VIGGO im absolutely over the moon with your good news my friend.happy days ahead and free to enjoy life for what its for without feeling trapped by the gambling s h i t .....supposed to see kids tomorrow but as ive had couple days in scotland this week been told to stay here as i cant get my priorities right...rang the ex s mother out of frustration tonight and it seems she is frosty with her as well.,.ive now been told to back off as its harrassment so so sad i only want to help out ....JASMINE/LINDY you posted on my diary a while back about help, sadly i may have to seek that out now...reading through the diaries its great to see people fight this and looking forward to holidays..yes ive got a day football trip to look forward to but what i would give to give them kids a proper sunshine holiday is beyond repair....to anyone new reading this seek help and tell your loved ones IMMEDIATELY for i left it too late and now looks like ive lost mine forever....friends it may be a wee while before my next post but i am thinking of you all....onwards and upwards today i did not bet tomorrow i wont bet we can do this folks :'(

Glad to read that your dad is recovering ok wp,i assume you will be heading back down to Newcastle tomorrow,just try to act in a non confrontational way regarding seeing the bairn,and (as you know)i think you need to give your ex plenty of breathing space for a while......,i understand how much you want to see the little one,and of course it would tear my heart out if i was in your position too,sometimes though it's best to try to keep our emotions out of things.No need to mention gambling..,that's not a part of your life now:).

You are winning your battle with gambling wp,have no doubt about that,and whatever happens in the future i'm sure you will not return to that way of life.....,yes it gets thrown in your face almost daily.....,that's your past behaviour not your present way of conducting your life!!!,i am also certain that you will be able to build a good father/daughter relationship with the little one as time passes,irrespective of whether or not you get back with the ex.You have to believe that mate!!!.

Both versions are quite harsh but in the case of the first one it is always true and in the second one, it can be true.

Lord knows how many times in my life that I have done something wrong and had to apologise for it but at the end of the day you can only say sorry so many times before enough is enough. Most people would either accept your apology or have the decency to refuse to accept it and just stay away from you.

Live is never easy but sometimes the moment comes when we have to take a deep breath and change things---a lot like we did when we came to this site begging for help. Perhaps mate that moment is fast approaching for you.

You have fought hard over the last few months to beat the gambling demons, you do not need to fight another battle at this time as it would seem that in this case, unlike gambling, this is a battle that you are destined to never win because you cannot take control of it-that is in the hands of your ex and it seems a war without end as far as she is concerned.

Just caught up with your diary mate. I'm really feeling for you at the moment with your ex mate. I know from experience that it can be so hard when they use kids against you. My ex's kids were from a previous marriage and not mine so I didn't have any so called 'rights' even though I brought them up like my own for 8 years, so I don't see them now and it really hurts, so I can only imagine how you feel with them being your own flesh and blood. Surely, she can't carry on using them as pawns against you, it's just not right. I hope that you can find some solution, but remember that your a good fella and don't deserve to be treated this way, even with your past.

I know the home nations have this policy in place,just strikes me that none of the home nations are doing themselves any favours when all the rest of the world are doing it!!!,just look at Germany (who i much admire) they have 9 non germans in the squad.
