Thanks for your post and support as usual mate. I had a hard time of it with soccer saturday as well mate. Enjoy watching Donny result coming in but other aren't as interesting. Might take your advice and try golfing on sat afts when i'm off work. I try to get to Keepmoat as much as I can, but can't go every game because of work.

Great news and things seem loads more positive in regards to ex and kids mate. I'm rooting for it to continue for ya.

how you doing?? i see you have been having some quality time with the wee one thats great news.

I also saw that you look at the results of the matches and that is difficult for you? is that a bit like me reading the calories of a mars bar once i have eaten it? i think it might be! basicaly its pointless you dont need to know the results if your not gambling! its like luck you dont need luck if your not gambling. So fill that time slot when the results are on doing something less boring like putting the kettle on and making a sandwich!!

you are still doing a fantastic job with your own journey to recovery and by supporting everyone else!

do you still speak with stumper on the phone? i have met up with Maddie a few times and we support each other off the site too. Its good to have people who really understand and by getting to know her personally is an even greater bond i think we will be friends forever, i do hope stumper is ok?

Thanks for the posts on my diary and glad to see that things for you are generally on the up. Like you, I find Sat afternoons very difficult at present - boring even. The scores at present don't really seem to matter cos there not on my coupon. However, me and you both know where that coupon will lead - pain, misery, debt, deceit and eventually financial ruin. So, I guess there are worse things in life than a little bit of boredom!

Thanks steve,russ,will,lili,lindy,tommi and hatch...always nice to read of people taking an interest....nothing much to report,holiday becoming increasingly likely to happen...had look at some prices...they are incredibly expensive still...she said we most likely to look the day before to see if any bargains which is probably a shrewd choice (pack bags ready then head for the airport )...would greek islands be dodgy under the present circumstances of greece, f**k knows ???...anyways im of to the match tomorrow night kipping in airport lounge before early morning flight...bit worried about my cash flow but what the hell,be my 1st break in ages ?? ,will be back thurs see what reaction i get then.maybe al keep that suitcase in the cupboard till then wi my up and doon relationship lol ???? Today i did not bet tomorrow i wont bet,we can do this my friends 😉

Hi wp, no way am I a bandit!! I'm sure my new positive outlook on life has played a part! Enjoy the football, it's great to enjoy the real things in life rather than a horrible habit that consumes everything. As for Greece, don't worry about it, you will be doing your bit to drag them out of their own debt crisis. They have had an all mighty binge since the introduction of the euro and are paying for it now. You are helping them!! Enjoy russ

Thanks for the post fella. Phew, nothing gets past you! It was like the gods of gam care were looking down on me then! I appreciate that you have little to write on your diaries these days. Give me another 6 months and I'll probably be in the same boat. I guess the point I was making was more towards positive posting on other peoples diaries. You guys have done loads and loads of posting/ supporting over the last year and maybe now it's time for others to continue in the same vein? Like stumper said in a post, he's kind of said it all. It's good that you will always be keeping an eye on this site. As you say, we are always one bet away from disaster. You come across as a top bloke wp and I really wish you well for the future.
