Toad....just a suggestion but have you approached the payday loan companies for compensation. The loans would have been unaffordable without due checks being made.

I've had some success reclaiming - there's some great info on debt camel.

Morning toad - please stop going in betting shops it really is no good for your recovery. Did you tell Mrs toad you went in a betting shop as I can't see her being very happy about that as I wouldn't be. were you able to hold on to your 10k toad or did you loose it? - if you were able to pay 50k off in two years just think of the nice life you can have with that in savings over the nxt two years instead of gambling it, you could treat Mrs Toad to some wonderful and well deserved holidays/treats. - wcid

Okay the 10k i used as following:--

2k - cleared my overdraft
1.7k - cleared my loan
2 k - my wife is holding for me.
1k - to my mum and dad
£500 - took the wife away for weekend
1k - socialising
£1k - trip booked to Spain
£1k - present to wife
The rest on Christmas presents.

So all good folks,

Another lapse. £16 down. I am not happy with myself. The fobt is happy as I fed it.

My dear Toad, I know I can't tell you what/ how to do this, we only listen to ourselves, us CGs hate negativity but you have somewhat thrived a bit this week on negativity, (that is not the toad I know) you know negativity doesn't work, I know you have been posting with a positive regarding your own posts, but that was because you were trying another way to get positive.ok it didn't work you have blipped, but that's ok, time to change your way of thinkng again,

It's hard I know to just admit we really do have a dangerous problem with this addiction, I know you are trying different methods, but until you face up to your own reality of what you are doing to yourself, first, it will snowball from a struggle to self destruction.

We are all on this same road, but on different roller coaster rides,but we are all so complex and unique with how we approach it and ride it.

It's time to be genuinely kind to yourself, and that starts with a simple word that is humble/d with yourself,

I do feel you are in a lot of pain inside, maybe time to let your own pain out, and let it go, then positivity will come from within, anything we really want takes hard work and a different pain, but it is soo much worth it.just a thought Toad.

Gambling is serious and I was trying to help people. Some individual was goading me. I was wrong to retaliate.
