Hope you have a lovely day on Sunday with the kids....
Hope that don't take you for lunch at one of those posh diy places !
Ahhhh...it wouldn't matter we're that take you. ...it's about time spent with them....with your heart and your soul...and no Mr gamble sat on your shoulder trying to pull you away....but then where the lucky ones hun...we know that now ..as for you moving in next Friday ?. ...well...don't some how think son would be to keen to give up his new room..lol
Buttttt.....if you have a tent we have a mahoosive garden....so your welcome to bring the misses and all the skids if you fancy a break....bootifull place to chill !
Right....best get sorted to open....can't wait to earn the cash to replace what I've spent on room.....weird. ...never thought like that before. ...not because I begrudge what I've spent....cos it was a pleasure....just love saving now !
Have a cracker Mr fish...stay safe and happy....and think on the tent idea....xxxx

Evening Diary , Well I'm back and no retirement home in sight Dan :)) ( well not yet anyway) ! .

So Great day with my son and daughter , started off at 9 this morning at her house where we set off for my fathers day treat , all quite hush hush this morning until we arrived at a local former Naval air base where they'd arranged a trip up in a glider ( b*m was going in and out a bit ) , Especially when the pilot gave my 1 minute briefing on the use of parachutes , which went along the lines of " If I star screaming at you from the back , twist this buckle , pull this red lever , push the canopy off , get out and remember to pull the D ring on the way down " My mind then went into ovedrive trying to remember what he'd just said but then I thought " Oh well , were flying over water so it doesn't really matter too much anyway " I didn't feel much better because I was sat in the front watching this small plane tow us up and couldn't help but notice how we''d taken off and were above the aircraft that was towing us before it had even left the ground ( apparently it's all normal ) , anyway towed up to 2,500 ft above the solent on a beautifull sunny morning whats not to like , as soon as the tow rope was released and all went quiet and with just the wind for company I was in awe , we were up for about 40 mins for which he let me fly it for about 25 and I can't wait to do it again , beaming like a cheshire cat when we landed and what a great experience .

We left there and went to Southampton where my son and I managed to buy our suits and shirts for the wedding ( at last ) , and all paid for by my debit card instead of my gambling days where it would have all been on the good old flexible friend , flexible Hah !! in the old days it had to be a bleedin contortionist the situations I'd get into with money . Went on and had a great dinner then home for a well earned nap , just dropped my son off at the coach station for his trip back to his Uni , he's staying there until the end of July until his tennancy expires but will be back most weekends because of work here , he's also just been offered the job he was interviewed for last week at the art gallery and will be working there for a couple of days a week over summer .

It makes me so proud to see him coming into his own , he's 21 this year and has got his head so well screwed on , I can't believe how lucky I am with both of them , I'm just glad I'm back in the real world to witness it .

Alan , a proud and lucky man on fathers day .

Best wishes and love to all , here's to another gamble free week .

xx

Alan,

I'm glad you had a great fathers day. Sounded like the perfect day. I know lately you have had anger issues and i'm sure that day helped you relax.

Anyway. Great to see you are not gambling.
Toad.

Don't be stupid, I was made up to see you had a great day. I wasn't supposed to be seeing him as he was supposed to be on a sleepover but it appears "Elizabeth" canceled with the ex so he came round for a few hours no card or present but that didn't matter we had a good catch up, he even told me about a new girl in his life at least one of us is getting some action.

Ok , just a quick post to say I'm not gonna be about for a couple of weeks , nothing serious but I've got some doctors and hospital appoinments coming up which I need to take care of , plus with all the wedding plans quickly taking shape I really need to focus on life in the 3D for a while , I know I didn't have to tell you but didn't want you to think anything's wrong as I wont be answering posts. I'm sure you'll all take care of each other and I'll catch up with you soon .

Cheers guys xx Alan
