Although you feel low now, you can beat this, you can beat the debt, seek advice from free debt companies, get debt interest frozen, maybe make token payments to give yourself some breathing space.
My credit rating is shot to pieces but it's the best thing that happened to me, as I now can't lose huge amounts even in relapse, as I only have what I earn.
Debts go down, they clear, it's a long hard road, there will be bumps, but your in the right place.
