Hello Dith.

None of that post came across as negative, quite the opposite to be honest.

In the past few years I've tried various councelling and S****e despite my earlier bravado regarding therapy, found it so empowering as I slowly unravel my mind.

A spark hai, a good trade and also in my experience in the industry, nice people.

Have only glanced through Alan Carr books. An author I discovered here, is a chap called Dr Gabor Mate and a book I like is ' In the realm of hungry ghosts ' there's also lots of him on YouTube worth checking out.

The sun's shining..yay

Terrific post Dith, thanks for sharing.
Gabor Mate is a genius, would also point you in the direction of Earnie Larrson. Bit more depth than Allen Carrs giberish

Hi Dith, how did you manage to gamble, as you were broke on Sunday? Well done for coming straight back, I am a great believer in folks seem to come back stronger after a slip, band with a changed way of thinking. Get those blocks in place, learn from where you went wrong. Best wishes.

Just skimmed through most of your diary.
There were parts when I just wanted to give you a hug so I'm sending you one now!
Keep battling to beat this horrible addiction. Take any help you can.
As you say nothing changes if nothing changes. Stay strong. You can do it!
All good wishes for a happier future x

I can see you are trying to beat this addiction

Don't give up

Keep rambling, keep talking about the issues that make you gamble, there are painful issues in your past that need to be resolved. The more you talk about them, the more irrelevant they become.

"gambling addiction is an emotional problem not a financial one", "I don't have a money problem I have a gambling problem". Lots of wise words then "Do i have a financial problem?". No you have a gambling problem that has affeced your finances. Your debts appear manageable as long as you keep making payments. Non-gamblers can have big debts but they do not dwell on them.

Like me you need to stop focusing on making quick progress to your finances. Your brain just tells you the only way to get out of the mess is more gambling. You know its what got you into that mess in the first place. A bet is not a sound financial decision.
