Why are relapse so destructive I've been clean for two years and life's good, I've increased my barriers now to help me as I'm scarred ill just do it again, downloaded gamban on all my devices and gam stop and have freeze on my bank card, hopefully I'll be able to recover my losses with my bank as I was able to deposit to a gambling site with gable freeze anyone else been able to gamble even with a freeze on there card?

try to let it go and focus your energy more on not gambling than getting the money back you gambled when you shouldnt have

Thanks, I am I have downloaded gamban now on all my devices and ensured my gamstop is up together, hopefully the bank will see this as an error and help. E recover the losses, for now though just focus on positive of life and back to daily affirmations ? I forget how lucky we all are in some ways just this switch of compulsive gambling is learning to live with that and be one step ahead of it.

Hi Ell welldone for sorting gamban and gamstop.

Try not to focus too much on trying to recover money, yes the banking blocks should have worked however you are still responsible for your actions, had you won gambling i doubt you would have contacted the bank then. Its good you have strengthened your blocks but maybe look into the triggers and why you gambled. Perhaps counselling or cbt as you cant fully rely on blocks they are not 100% effective
