Well it’s Saturday day 12 days GF, got paid yesterday and I want to gamble! 🙁 soon as I’ve got money in the bank my mindset changes. I just say to myself I’ll have a little bet it won’t hurt. Today is going to be a   long day.

 Hi JField,

Feel free to give us a call on the helpline 0808 8020 133 or via our netline.  If payday triggers your gambling then put some protective measure in place e.g  involving someone you trust to help you manage your money. Set out some things to keep you busy and focused today.  For your information Monzo, Starling and Barclays can block gambling transactions. Don't let your hard earned money go to waste.

Take care,

Hi jfield13

hope you have got through Saturday- you have identified something  that I felt, when I didn’t have any ammunition my mind didn’t wander, when I did it went Gamble gamble! Mostly a quick Acca turned into no money and another month borrowing etc.

so we the other barriers were required for me as I live alone so can’t hand over cash. So GameStop on line and self exclusion at bookies and casino so I can’t  gamble, also I try and have plans to keep busy

hope all good
