Had the casino urge last night but settled for a bottle of chГўteau nuef and the walking dead instead. Lol. But did seriously contemplate it but i thought of all the good work being undone in one foul swoop. No way jose!.
No urges now and i feel i have won a mini battle with my demons.

Keep it up Steve, I sumcumbed to that urge after a year off and you know what it was exactly the way I left it a year before horrible, lonely just a ball of negativity in my life now I am trying to rebuild not as easy. Protect your recovery hard earned easy lost.

Day 257.
Nothing really to report and no urges this morning. It's funny that 99% of the time i am in total control of this whole thing. But the 1% is the scary thing as its all you need to self destruct. Will we ever be cured of this? I don't think any of us ever will. So its all about keeping control of the smallest part of us that wants to gamble.
I think i have to accept this is how its going to be for the rest of my life.
