90 days.

I have completed 90 days (again). It's been a really difficult period and I appreciate all the help and support I have had. I've been a real numpty at times but noone judged. They were super kind and I'm keeping on keeping on. I do feel better now the holidays have ended and having a new job to focus on has helped me get into a routine of mostly going to bed at a reasonable hour.

I just wanted to say thank you to the GC community and staff and everyone is all.

I'm still working my recovery.

Day 264.

Last time I was at day 264, the next day my Hubby died. Messing with my head a little. Not gonna lie.

I've handed in my notice to the cleaning job.

It's affecting my mental health too much. I tried to be assertive with my boss to avoid doing extra but this week I've done 3 jobs on top of the day job and I realised he's never gonna stop bugging me to do extra.

Anyhow, I am confident it's the right thing and I've paid off enough of my debts already that I will manage without the extra income.

Time to have a proper life again, live within a budget and stop punishing myself for my past gambling mistakes.

Hi drama,

Sounds like your doing the right thing for you, putting yourself first , you don't need to spend you life feeling under pressure by a boss. And its brilliant your now in a better position with your debts that you can do that.

Wishing you the very best, take care of yourself, you deserve happiness

Stace x

Day 314.

I booked myself a therapist and I've had a couple sessions with him. I found as certain anniversaries were looming I was getting very down. I've done some hypnotherapy and he's given me homework around challenging negative thinking so I don't get too overwrought with everything. I think it's working.  I've booked 5 appointments cos I believe I'll be alright once I've got through the big anniversary of Hubby dying.

When I started my new job they sent me for a Bupa Wellness check up. Full MOT. The mammogram returned something odd. I had to go up the NHS breast clinic today and they did more pictures. They're calling me Monday with an appointment for a needle biopsy.

I was meant to have a session with my therapist at 4pm but he suggested I have something to eat, take a nap and we're gonna do it tommorow at 2pm instead cos he thinks I'll get more out of it then.

I'd ordered a guosto box and my first one arrived today. I made myself Smoky Chicken and Mushroom Pasta. It was very tasty. The meals are for two so I've boxed one portion up and I'll micky that for my dinner tommoz.

It's my last night cleaning tonight but I'm gonna blob and do it over the weekend. I think I'll just follow the advice and do some self care and try and relax.

My best mate says she'll come with me so that takes away some of the anxiety about all this anyway.

I hope you are all well.

Hi Drama,

Meant to write the other day but struggle  to find words to say.

You are extremely strong  soul. Keep hold of that, because only your resilience and belief in hope can get you through  the dark times.

Losses are never easy. Esp loved ones. But life is strangely built to hurt and inspire...its just whatever  time it falls into. I never truly understood the course of universe...

I hope the further tests comes back clear with some peace to your mind/heart.

Look after yourself

S&B xx
