Hi Chris

Pay day was always my biggest and main trigger way back. I remember many times, after it hitting my account, it would almost all be gone in a matter of hours!! Those physical feelings it left me which, still act as a good reminder never to go back.

I also now set myself mini goals for each pay day, which I find really helps, plus, I make sure I treat myself to a little something each time I get paid.

Stay strong and keep your wages for yourself.

Take care.

thanks

Payday has proved a little more difficult than i thought it might. I was always having "thoughts" leading up I will have even more disposable income so therefore I could "afford" to gamble, but never had a real urge to act on that. however I did get an urge earlier today and it lasted a short while. The main thing I didn't act on it and am ready to kick on again. each time you resist an urge it is a little confidence boost and the more you rack up the more confidence you take moving forward to really give yourself a shot at enjoying a gamble free life
