Thanks for the kind offer Dotty!

Day 130

Bored!

Decided to start my 'spring clean' for the 1st time ever lol-hate doing housework but thats now 2 cupboards gutted and wheelie bin full. Washing baskets empty and dishes done-unheard of in this house lol. Determined that my leave next week will not be spent doing chores.

Taken an extra shift for sat niteshift, every little helps!

Sis had to have doc out today-more painkillers with no proper examination!!! makes my blood boil.

Quick post tonight-knackered after my efforts 🙂

Just wanted to catch up and say Hi Irene.

Loving the spring clean!! I was like that at my son's at the weekend!! Meanwhile mine??!

Are you a nurse? I get the impression you work for the NHS for some reason!! You don't have to say if you would rather not and I hope you don't think I am being too nosey.

Get some rest and enjoy your time off next week.

Take care.

Day 131

Reluctant to venture out to the carpet of white. Snows in the same category as cleaning and paperwork-hate it!

Gamble free still 🙂

The Padster, the Dotster and the Woodster...lol...imagine of they all started their very own doggy forum...wow...the tales they would tell..

Got our snow delivery right on time Irene...sorry you don't like the snow ...I do but not in the usual way...everything just looks clean and it's the only way to physically make me slow down and have a real rest...instead of rushing round at 200 mph.

Keep warm ...

So lucky here as river down and a lovely sunny spring day so going to stay home and recuperate. Good for the body, mind and soul.

Hi Irene,

Enjoy your week off , I love cleaning lol pretty sad really , but I find tackling things I don't like so much easier in small chunks, do a bit , put it down and do a bit more when I feel like it.

Have a great week.

Thanks folks x

Day 133=19 weeks 🙂

Well, not been to my kip yet after my nightshift, although me n the Padmeister's cooried up on the sofa. He went to visit my son overnight- posh wee pooch has his new bed, biscuits and bowls at son's house!

Today's just flown past. I'd volunteered to do a work related thing today.....only 2 turned up so our plan was put aside and we drank tea, ate shortbread and had a good catch up.

Visited my sis- she seems to be mobilising a bit easier although still in pain. Got a major family crisis happening- the family are shocked although I've suspected for ages and feel like there's something I should be doing. I keep reminding myself- you've got to want help before anything changes. Cryptic I know but not my information to share freely.

More rubbish news. My bestie called earlier- I'm really worried. She is gambling, admits she's lost control. Chasing losses, lying, spending time, money and emotion in bookmakers. She's been gambling for a long time. She found online bingo and slots ages before I did- I used to lecture her (remember, I used to spend a fiver a week-what a laugh!). Luckily, she's realised before she's accrued financial debt but is risking lots. I've been telling her about my using this site. She is one of the few "real" people I've shared this with. I've tried to talk to her about the time/money/location and self exclusion and how she can access one2one support. She's adamant that she will stop. I pray this happens, although suspect it won't.

What a day indeed!

Hey. 19 weeks- yipee!!!!!
