I've just left this evening's Chatroom. It was a really good, supportive atmosphere as always, ably and gently guided by our Chat Moderator.
The evening sessions last from 8-9pm. However, I have noticed that sometimes, particularly if there are new attendees or, if there are many of us and the subject gets quite interesting, the 9pm deadline seems to come around pretty quick. Sometimes, it seems to me, that we could have done with a little more time.
I'm wondering, and fellow Gamcare members may wish to pitch in with their views here, that an extra 30mins might be useful, to from 8:00 - 9:30. This would give us time, particularly on busy nights and where newbies really need to the time to flesh out their stories, the extra time that we might need.
I am aware, of course, that Gamcare resources (staffing) is finite and that it may not be possible to free up front-line staff who may be be needed in another Gamcare capacity around this time.
Irrespective, thank you for providing this excellent service which, for me at least, really takes 'the edge' of this addition and helps my recovery.
In addition, there are some really good fellow Chatroomers around; Lids and Adam to name just two. They, and everyone, make for a really good supportive vibe.
Could if gamcare mods time is precious cancel the Friday and Saturday 8pm chats and extend the rest as there's always literally just me in those chats no one else as everyone goes out
