Today marks 200 days gamble free.

With the devastating losses, debts and addiction over the last 10 years 200 days is another step towards dry land.

The debt will linger around for a few more years yet and the debt is an every day reminder even though I have stopped gambling. The debt hurts a lot, every day is a battle for positivity over negativity but one that I will not lose out on this time.

The road is still very long for being debt free, but today I am 200 forks stuck in the road.

Be kind to yourself guys. Life is short.

Absolutely brilliant.   And fantastic discipline.

Yes the debts still hurt .  I struggle to shake it off tbh.   Always in my thoughts.

Yesterday I got a letter about my mortgage renewal next year.     I added 30k debt to  current 5yr deal .

Made me think I'm working until 70 as a result of stupid and reckless betting. And could have given my family a better life instead of heartbreak.

Keep pushing mate.   And adding more dsys on the calendar.

@rpc2011 Thank you for your reply. I currently have 45k debt and am thinking about doing the same and adding to my mortgage if they allow it.
