Day 26

Well pay day came and went two days ago and I've STILL NOT GAMBLED. I'm feeling strong and positive.

Between tomorrow and Monday my debts won't be paid as it looks like I'm applying for a DRO. Just got to fight the urge to gamble to keep the wolves from the day.

Biggest week so far coming up.

Wish me luck

Day 27

Still no bet and 24 hours off four weeks, I'm proud of myself.

Just gotta try and deal with these debts, one thing I know is gambling isn't the answer.

Day 29

Smashed through the four week barrier, can't believe I've come this far..... Next landmark is tomorrow when I reach a FULL MONTH without a bet. Then Monday when I've complete a full CALENDAR month.

Still anxious about my debts though, got 3 tomorrow who won't get paid so I've to deal with them so the temptation to try and 'win the money' will be there but I'll keep fighting.

Looks like I'm going for a DRO, only logical solution outta this mess really.

Thanks for reading my posts.

Day 30

Still no bet. Buzzing to have gone this long, it's a great feeling.

Starter to deal with debts too, some have been okay, others less so but it things are starting to look up.

Just a word of warning to myself. Trying to gamble the debts away WON'T work. Keep that at the forefront of my mind and I'll keep beating this addiction.

Hi Sazzy

I'm not the right person to speak to about organising debts, I'm trying to take advice from cab and Step change.

Pay plan don't charge you do they?

Day 41

The urge gets less and less each day.

Hopefully sign up for my DRO Monday so fingers crossed.

Can't believe how far I've come from the despair of 6 weeks ago.
