I've been gambling badly for past 12 months everytime i get paid I just can't help myself I lost 800 won it back and lost it again! I've tried closing accounts but always manage to sign up to one 🙁 I don't enjoy gambling or being skint I don't know why I do it!

Welcome to the forum. Have you tried using a gambling blocker like K9? Its free to install and from what i've heard from other members its really good. If you have a look around this site and read through peoples recovery diaries you will find a wealth of information, loads of tips and advice on ways to beat this horrible addiction.

Try to rekindle an old hobby or find new hobbies to occupy your mind. I enjoy reasing, crosswords, puzzles etc. I keep my mind active and off thoughts of gambling this way. Posting and reading this forum also occupies my time. Time is a killer! You have to find something to fill in any void time, especially in the early stages of recovery.
GA/counselling are both good options for you. You will need support and advice from anywhere you can get it. Don't be afraid to ask for help.
I am 57 years young and if I am very lucky and still able to work, I will be able to pay off all my debts when/if I reach the ripe age of 72. You do not want to end up in my position. Other people I know will never be able to repay their debts, they are just too great. 🙁
I am guessing you are just 22 years young? You have an opprtunity to have a good, happy life. The choice for you is this. Gamble, and you will have a life of misery, or stop now, and you can have everything in life that you could wish for.
The only thing that you cannot do is have a single bet. You can do absolutely everything else. It is up to you. Only you can stop your gambling. You have to want to stop. Put restrictions in place to hinder any gambling opportunities and attend GA and/or counselling.

It's just so easy to gamble now with online gambling about! I've tried all the software none ever work on my phone
If the k9 mobile software don't work, put a restricter on your app world so you can't download any apps, Ask somebody you know and trust to set the password that's what Ive done and it's worked for me now for 2/3months
Fact is if you want to place a bet you'll find a way
blocking software can help but you've got to really want to stop and commit to trying different methods if willpower alone doesn't work
