Hi

Ironically I signed up to this forum 2 years ago today I've just seen. I stopped gambling for a good 6 months and it felt so good.

Today I lost money playing on online casino (approx 300). As I deposited my last 100, i didn't want to do it and tried stopping myself and was shouting at myself to stop when playing roulette but kept going.

I feel like I can control online sports gambling but once in a blue moon I play only casinos and have no control and I hate it. I feel so selfish and embarrassed that I've got back into it.

I want to completely block myself from betting for a while, but I want to keep playing fantasy football on sky sports fantasy football and am worried that blocking my accounts will prevent me from getting on that.

Any advice on how to beat this and how to block accounts is welcome.

Cheers

Hess

I don’t want to sound at all patronising as I am not even a week gamble free. I have done 4-6 months free in the past but also keep relapsing. As sad as I know it sounds I have come to the realisation the only way is to completely stop everything . I loved a scratch card now and then and never had a problem with them but I feel if I am ever going to have a chance to do this for good, then I need to stop any kind of gambling altogether. I know this isn’t a solution to your question and it’s just my view, but I honestly think it’ll be the key to long term success.

Wishing you all the best
