Just an introduction, I am 39 years old married with 3 children. My gambling habits have got steadily worse over the past few years, I have lost the trust and respect from my wife and to be honest everything feels like its collapsing around me. This all stems from my dishonestly to the people who care for me most. Gambling seems to be a sin that is always best hidden away. Not 100% sure on what to do with this obsession anymore.

Good afternoon Paul,

Paul I am no expert but take it from one who has lost everything and is £1000's in debt. Stop gambling and face things head on put what ever blocks in place you can and take it day at a time. I self excluded myself from all betting shops, and faced up to my debt.

The only way to change is to stop gambling as it just causes utter destruction.

I am sure there are people better placed to give advise.

Stay Strong Stay G/f

Malc

Hi Paul, I'm also 39 and fully understand the helpless feelings of beating this disease. It's cost me a marriage, home and relationships with friends and children. The fact you've joined the forum shows you have the strength to beat it and recover the things most important to you. Good luck pal, we can do it! George
