Tommorrow will be day ONE starting with self exclusion thank you for reading.

Hi Adam92

Welcome to the forum. I am new on here too. On day 5 of my recovery. Although I have known I had a problem for a number of years I have reached the stage of 'enough is enough'. I self-excluded from sites online but new ones kept popping up for me to join so I have handed over finances to someone, given away my beloved iPad (well, a kind of permanent loan to my grandson) and have only my PC now which has had an excellent block on. I find that is the only way for me as the urge to gamble is always too strong despite my best intentions. I wish you all the best with your recovery and well done for having the courage to admit your problem and want to do something to stop. I have found the support and encouragement on here has been great in the 5 days and I am finally looking forward to a brighter future. I have even joined the 2014 challenge (under Overcoming problem gambling section of the forum) and don't want to let the others on there down - I have let enough people down over the years, including myself.

Best wishes

Elfie
