Well after a couple of days of deep soul searching.. As I'm sure many of us do all too often.. I have come to the conclusion.. And realisation that I have to get a real grip of this affliction called gambling.. I'm determined to not carry on the farce and pretence that I don't have a problem and put my foot on this b stards throat once and for all.. Time to get my self respect and life back.. I have a very very difficult period coming up due to my gambling.. But I can do it!!! gotta survive 30 days without a penny now! I really hope this is the wake up call I need.. Sink or swim time
ads67 its do or die situation for us if we dont put full stop to gambling then we have no escape. Self exclude from every website put blocker on and ask someone to put password on k9 is ok. This is what i did, i hit twice by this gambling and i will not let this happen third time.
I admire your resolve Fm.. I have self excluded from site I've been using and am in process of blocking gambling sites.. I'll look at k9.. And Ty for your support... We can do this!!! Gonna be a real hard slog but like you I want my life back..
Also in a similar situation. On Friday afternoon I had savings and a healthy bank balance , by the early hours of Saturday it had 'all' gone on slots! I now am also penniless and actually £500 over my overdraft ! I feel sick to my stomach over a stupid night of gambling. I hope this is finally the wake up call I've needed and I can now completely rid myself of this evil addiction. My day 2 off hopefully a gamble free life
