Hi guys , after many months of constantly loosing money I have decided enoughs enough.
Ive been playing online slots now for roughly about a year. Started off loosing small amounts but gradually it's become more and more and has really started to become a major issue in my life.
Im ashamed and embarrassed to what I'm turning into and really really need help and support before it's too late .
This month alone ive probably lost the most I ever have and the thought of it makes me feel physically sick.
I am meant to be moving out at the end of the month but at this rate I'll never have any money to pay the bills.
I have an amazing family and girlfriend and really really need to crack this habit before I loose everything.
I am determined to crack this awful habit/addiction and hopefully with all of your guys helps and support we can all overcome this.
I'm going to keep an online diary and record and progress or relapses.

Although you didn't ask for advice, I'm gonna just let you know that you can get blockers for your devices! I can't vouch for which are the best but (K9 is free &) this may help you break your Time-Money-Location triangle which is vital in this stage of your recovery! Good on you for recognising you have a problem so quickly, you are absolutely right about the need to kick this addiction into touch right now, it ruins lives!
We cannot win because we cannot stop but every day we stay stopped we win! You can do this - ODAAT
Firstly thank you so much for the reply in such a short space of time , it really helps me and shows that there are people out there willing to help and support.
I have self excluded from so many casinos online but I always find a new one.
Whenever I loose I instantly think of what I could of treated myself to with that money and then the guilt hits !
Day 1 today. Any times I feel like I have the urge im going to post on here straight away as a distraction

My poison was not online but what you say is a very common theme...The blockers will prevent you accessing any new sites! A phonecall to Gamcare or a hunt round this site will give you more info but people do swear by them.
If you plan to spend some time here, it may be worth setting yourself up in the recovery diary section! It's a very safe place to come when the urges hit & they will.
