Last week I ended up betting and losing 2k.. I'm ashamed to say I betting again last night with another large sum 🙁

I did originally install gambling blocking software on my computer however as I am generally a bit of an IT expert it wasn't a problem to actually find a way to remove it/disable it.

I feel like I am starting to become addicted and I feel it is hard to walk away. Someone comment on a previous post of mine that you always think you will win when you will lose. That is very much the case as I'm generally always thinking "if I put X amount on then I will definitely win X amount back!"

Hi Mjh,
Relapse is also part of my story too. I believe that you have chosen to share on here is a fantastic step. It means you want to stop/ find help advice. At the moment I am winning by NOT taking that first spin. I am approx 3 weeks gambling free & if I can do that, then I believe anyone can. Just work on a day at a time. This site is a fantastic way to support you by reading posts & experiences. There is a lot of strength here.
Best wishes
Roxi 🙂

Hi MJH87 like the other posters after a year gamble free I have this weekend hit the self destruct button.

We must overcome our urges in the best possible way. the roulette wheel has always been my downfall. A pointless game of chance that holds huge financial strain loosing vast amounts in minutes.

In the online world we never see or touch our hard Earned cash it it's just Monopoly money.

Would we go down the street use our betting money by making a withdrawal from a bank machine and rip it all up in the high street. No way.

We will do this one day at a time. Keep strong. Lucan.
