Hi.. I just felt I needed to say how sad it is so many lives are being ruined by this dreaded gambling.. It saddens me deeply to see so many others in the same or worse situation I find myself in.. Feeling suicidal.. Hating ourselves.. The secrecy the lies we tell ourselves.. My heart goes out to all.. We can and will win this battle.. Are you like me when you see gambling ads on TV? It's sickening isn't it? this site has really opened my eyes to the fact I'm not alone in my misery.. But has also reinforced my determination to beat this sucker.. And not be one anymore.. Good luck to all on your path to recovery

Indeed the bookmakers/ and on line casinos get away with murder.

When the fun stops, stop ha

Its we CG's that make them the huge profits.

how else coulld they have a shop on nearly every high street.

Vested intersets protect them in goverment.

I am sure the powers to be, know only two well gambling is fastly becomeing an epodemic

Some MP's are trying to limit there destructive influence but the goverment seems to turning a blind eye

Probably due to large donations and directerships they hand out to political partys all of them.

It's terrible how easy it is too throw thousands away in minutes.. I get untold messages and emails offering me this and that.. Up to 40 a day.. This kind of thing should be illegal as people like ourselves have problems resisting... Chasing that dream of a big win that will get us out of the hole we are in.. Only to make situation worse than ever... It really angers me the legislation isn't stronger.. It's obscene

What I would really like would be a way to self exclude from all gambling sites without having to go and search each individual site to find out their method of self exclusion. ..Some of them make it quite hard to find with no direct link to self exclusion page from the help section where it tells you that you can do it..hate the ones who make you email then they reply asking for more info/are you sure etc....There should be a site where you can go register your details that will prevent you from simply going to another online bookies/bingo/slots site and opening up a new account...I'm sure I'm not the first and won't be the last to self exclude after a big loss only to go register elsewhere shortly after trying to claw some of the losses back

Know what your saying as I had to email the site I use.. And yes they then ask reason why? As if they don't know ffs..it's embarrassing enough as it is... Why can't they just have a button to click and job done..they make it easy enough to join or gamble thousands away in minutes.. Also if you happen to win it takes days to get cash and one I used had a option of reversing withdrawals.. Which cost me dear as I had amassed 6000 in January and withdrawn but only allowed to withdraw 1500 a day to maximum of 3000 a month... Ended up playing again and you know the ending to that particular story

Well said jj.. Very quick to take your dough and very slow to pay out.. Their tactics are deplorable.. But they've had thier last f#####g penny off me.. I'm determined.. How many lives have they ruined? It's Disgraceful.. Yes we're to blame for succumbing as well but once they have thier hooks in you its so hard to break free.. I hope we can all manage to rid ourselves of these predators though

I had to email a photo of myself holding my birth certificate up to one site one time because I don't have a driving license.
And yes the 'pending withdrawal' stage where you have the option to reverse for however many days before they even consider paying out....perhaps if there was a pending deposit stage of a few days where you could cancel before you get to use it there would be time to wake up and realise what were doing lol
