Stuck in a cycle

So I've tried the method of reducing my gambling and reducing my stakes, I don't owe any money but the cycle is still there. Trouble is I enjoy a limited amount but I don't like the desperation of trying to get something back that I've lost. Sometimes I feel ill be okay with my limited amount but after losing any amount I end up feeling miserable as even losing £50 or £100 is too much. I can't believe the grip and the hold gambling has on me as an individual but also on so many millions of people. Gambling is too readily available and is literally everywhere. I've done the moses ban but like most on here, there's other places where its too easy to satisfy your itch. The lure of a win only satisfies temporarily and then you go back n boom you lose. Just absolutely pointless. I thought I could control to a degree but it's hard work mentally and emotionally. Then you see people laughing and smiling coz they've won a huge amount but you don't see them in mental torture after it's gone... every single gambler on this planet has lost so much more than they've ever won but yet we still want to gamble, its absolutely nuts.
