After a few years of chasing losses I'm finally realising that I have a serious problem, my debts have escalated to 10k in just a couple of years and I'm just not sure how the hell im going to pay this back! I owe money to credit cards and loan companies and also have a car on finance, its just a matter of time before I default a payment.
Any advice would be appreciated.

You will certainly default on a payment if you don't stop gambling hun, trust me been there 30k and upto my eyeballs in it.
Priorites. Your car you must need that for work etc? Work out payment dates. Ring the loan companys just explain youv'e had some money difficulties which you are sorting maybe deffear payments and ask if they will freeze the interest?
Most importantly and first this is first..... self exclude for life from every gambling site.
Do you have a partner or a family member that could maybe take control of your finances? Only give you cash and make sure your bills are paid on time?
You can do this.

don,t woory about debts they have specialist teams who help in hardship , just agree a monthly amount you can afford , its the gambling that needs attention yh you lost 10k yh i lost prob bout the same but it bubbles away under the surface for life for most CG , you hate you lost the money but it still draws you in for more its going take massive effort daily to stop and i know as im a bit weak and keep going back but ppl on here have abstained and i will keep trying , use the forum to get all your feelings out and be brave and focus on real world as gambling not the real world , money seems meaningless and then when we step out of bookies or casino or switch laptop off you go back to reality and it is a horrible feeling
