So, this is my first post. I have been gambling for around 3 years and its been a problem ever since i started to be honest.
In the past year and a bit i've ended up with no money but never in debt, i spent all my savings and then spent all my wages which came in every month. I had a long period last year where i stopped gambling, but over christmas 2014 i started again and i am now potless again, when will i learn?
I have self excluded myself from most sites that i know of! I have used blocking software but always find a to get past it. I only bet online on football and i would never dream of going into a bookies!
Im guessing that im turning a corner by discovering this forum, im still young (22) so i have a lot to learn.

I'd maybe look to counselling via Gamcare or attend GA meetings.
I'm not that technically minded about blocks.
Others will post more ideas for you on that aspect I guess.

In spite of the fact that you’ve been struggling with your gambling problem, you seemed to be well aware of the adverse effect that comes with it, and thus you’re making efforts to seek the necessary help that you require to overcome it, and before it totally goes out of control. Replacing your spare time/ gambling time with different form of activity or hobby is another way of distracting yourself from gambling, and I’m wondering whether you’ll like to consider this option?
Also, since you’re able to find a way around the blocking software that you use, I’ll suggest that you look at our recommended ones – Gamblock, Net Nanny, and Betfilter, to see if they’ll be of better help to you. They’ll stop you from accessing gambling sites; it pays to read about all of them before making a choice.
