ibI am a compulsive gambler. I have put myself and my family heavily in debt. I have lost my business and have three small kids and a wife suffering through my selfishness.
I have tried counselling. I have tried anti depressants. I have blocked, I have handed over finances.
I am running out of things to try.
My health is suffering as I feel constantly anxious and stressed about my situation.
I am changing jobs and moving house. This has to be a fresh start for me and I need to leave my gambling behind.
I know it is one day at a time and I know that I cannot gamble because I cannot stop. But knowing and doing are different things.
Guilt is eating away at me at present
