Checking in day 174! Haven't been tempted in a while even when I watch friends win on the fruities! For all newcomers, if you stick to this site and get an addiction for the amount of gamble free days you are racking up, it will easily encourage you to stay gamble free and that means a lot more pennies to spend on the good things in life!

Good morning troops... In Clare's absence I offered to stand in this week and keep track of everyones progress. Im a little disappointed to report that a total of 12 troops havent signed in this week;

So sorry Mark, trust me to miss the week you take over.

The week started out ok and descended into a nightmare which is how I've managed to forget to check in. But, I've remained gambling free and being honest the thought of doing it hasn't crossed my mind which is good.

I've set myself a reminder on my phone so fingers crossed I shouldn't miss check in again.

Checking in on day 98, thanks for the mention sonic Boom the three figures are so close! This will be a great achievement but is only a start, I want to be like triangle (500 days), I am fully committed to my recovery.

Yesterday I treated myself to a new golf club, in advance of my triple figures as I feel it is important to reward yourself, much like gambling used to be (the odd time we would win).

Well done to everyone gamble free whether it's 1 day or 1000, every day is a success.

Today is a good day, today is a gamble free day.

Thanks Mark for your commitment to this thread this week, I think your style of stating individuals achievements on a daily basis, really gave everyone on here a purpose and a strong feeling that they did matter and belong, just being acknowledged can boost a CGs confidence, and encouragement to soldier on. and you have certainly done that this week.

Would like to just say, keeping my triangle PERMANTLY broken, helps me on difficult days, ( but they are getting less and less) because my recovery is stronger at this time.

Well done to all milestones reached last week, whether it be a day milestone, a week or an amazing 500 days like Tri, who's journey we all get inspiration from. Well done Tri,
