Hey, Well have come back on here as i need help. Have tried talking to people on the phone, have tried these forums even tried reading the bible, but there is an underlying urge to gamble and i know im addicted to it however as a result it is ruining me financially.
As a single guy of 27, i have some issues with ex partner and my son as half the time i spend money on gambling that i cant afford to take him out anywhere which is pathetic because i should be more responsible but i cant help myself since i was paid today ive lost £310 and keep chasing that win, i really need advice here because im struggling and i dont feel i can turn anywhere
Hello Gambleez,
It is good that you're using the forum. Well done for talking about the lapse openly here in the Overcoming section, and you've started a Recovery diary.
If you find that you're feeling demoralised by the lapse and have a sense that you need more support to help you make more progress with your recovery, please feel welcome to call our Freephone 0808 8020 133 or our Netline. If you like, the advisers can let you know about additional free help that may be available near you, like the GamCare counselling services.
Take care,
Adam.
