When I finally admitted to others that I am a compuslvie gambler and took the plunge into recovery and a different life, on day one I just wanted my milestone to start with a 2. I guess day 2 was going to be tough enough but I wanted to get to 200 days. It felt so far off. Stuart's thinking was all wrong and had got himself into one hell of a mess so I knew I would need to learn off others and put in a lot of work as I knew nothing about recovery and had never tried to give up.

No cake delivered, banners in the house, balloons or party poppers lol but today at 1134am I hit 200 days gamble free. I can't thank everyone enough on here for the advice and support. I genuinely enjoy recovery now and through the journey so far it's amazing and can't wait to carry on down this road.

Hi Stuart,

Congratulations on reaching 200 days gambling-free!

That's a fantastic achievement and a testament to your consistent effort. I hope that you take a moment to recognise how far you have come and the positive changes you have made. A greater peace of mind particularly is worth celebrating.

Thank you for sharing your milestone with the community to inspire others.

Best Wishes for the future,

Louise
