Stephen,

with the getting along with your team at work, its just a thought but you have been distant from them for a long time while you been engrossed in your gambling life be that placing bets or dealing with the aftermath of losing. the guys around you probably don’t know you and only know you as gambling Stephen. it will take time for you to get to know them just keep trying to interact, its probably as strange for them as it is you they will need to get to know the non gambling Stephen as well.

keep sticking with it bud eventually you will click with one of them and that’s all you need.

Ah yea Oldham i know that and i know its unfair to think people will just start chatting to me straight away. But i dont have any interest in normal peoples conversations.

And im still too sensitive. The girls chatting about the lads they fancy and im thinking to myself "eh what about me" . Im here looking like a homeless man expecting people to take an interest in me just becuase i havent gambled. The head is all over the place really. Im doing the right things to stop gambling its just normal life isnt for me.

re post 166, normal life isn't for you?

Normal life might not be your habit because it came second to gambling but you can learn new and good habits. Ok, conversation is forced at first but keep practicing and it gets to be comfortable then normal.

Stick with it.

Hi Stephen,

If you've had a slip and you're embarrassed, don't be, and don't go into the wilderness for months again. Most people on here have slipped many times, me included. Hopefully you haven't, but if you have, fess up and get back on the horse. We can only try to help you if you're communicating with us. Come on Stephen, we're worried about you, you matter to us.

Twinks xx

I hope your ok mate and that things are good for you but I mirror twinks above , if there's anything troubling you at the moment gambling or health related ? Just come back on and have a chat , you know were not going to judge whatever's happened , there's a lot of people worried about how your gettin g on at the moment and we could do with an update to put our minds at rest :)).

As alway's your choice Stephen but I'll look forward to talking again soon .

All the best Buddy :))
