Ive been told i look like Donald Trump today because of my hair. Remind myself tomorrow to put some gel in it!!
Yeah , maybe not such a good look Stephen ? LOL !
Have a great day today and a even better hair day tommorow my friend :))
monet. Oh my Stephen I feel your pain, you have me in tears with the emotional journey you are going through. Iv just joined this forum as a way to deal with my issues. It all started when I worked for the national lottery and also an amusement arcade, seeing people win jackpots of £500 with £1 made me want to try it suppose for a better bank balance. Nope never happened and 5 years on I have been on it and off it for years. Recently my life has been s**t relationship brake down, single mum and finding it hard. Av got rent arrears, etc a work pt so I do have money coming in but after I have paid rent I find myself searching for a site that I have not already self excluded from. Find one and waste money. I have had to decide to go bankrupt and start again. So this is my day 3 of no gambling with a total of £10 in my bank until Monday I'm hoping that the feeling of being able to understand that I am not alone keeps me off the Internet. Thank you so much for posting your life and letting people read how u feel. Suppose what I'm trying to say is thanks xxx

Have a great day too Alan!
Im glad he said it about the hair and that i wasnt sensitive about it. Just little things in my behaviour i can see changing for the good
It's nice to see things improving for you Stephen , even the smallest of things contribute to the big picture that we call life ,
I really can't believe the difference in the content of your post's this last week or so and I'm probably not alone in thinking that way either as there's a lot of people on here routing for you , I think we all knew you had it in you to make changes and progress to the life you want to achieve and more importantly the life you deserve but sometimes it takes a little while to reach the surface , glad to see it poking through :)) .
Talk to you again soon Stephen
The Apprentice - I'd have sacked 5 of the 6 brought back into the boardroom, they were truly dreadful!
Anyhow, ditto what Alan said. You're doing yourself proud Stephen, and us - we're like a bunch of clucky parents saying 'that's my boy!'
I'm on the road from early tomorrow, so will catch up with you next week as you're not on line at the weekend. Hope you get some news from the GP tomorrow though.
Keep striding on Stephen!

Really tough night last night.
I read there was a new Playstation coming out. I thought "why not treat myself next month to one". That started a series of thoughts on how much money id need and how much money i should get from my mam (who is minding my card)
My head was going crazy with all the thoughts , made me feel depressed and i had a bad nights sleep. Slept it out today and was late for work.
A fairly innoncent idea of buying myself something turned into a negative series of events. I lost my focus that i had the last few days and definately lost a part of my peace of mind.

They are defo keeping people on the show for the "entertainment value". One of the girls should be sectioned she was crazy. Good luck for today and the weekend
Nothing wrong with buying yourself something Stephen but maybe think about buying it as a reward for yourself after say A month gamble free ? , I can understand your way of thinking though as I used to do the same , I'd pop into town to do some " Shopping " and convince myself that I'd just pop into the bookies on the way up in order to win enough to cover the shopping , it never worked like that though and usually cost me a lot more than a few groceries ( how crazy is that ? ) .
I know you won't be online over the weekend and I'm sorry to sound like a parent but keep yourself safe and remember how much progress youv'e made this last week .
Have a great weekend and I'll catch up with you on Monday :))

Anything to do with money or having to buy anything (clothes, lunch, bus fare) leads to negative thoughts. And i guess the positive to come out of that is that i know i cant control my money and handing over my bank details was a good move.
I think that's true of most of us when were in the grip of addiction ? But your begining to change things now Stephen so with time I'm sure your negative thoughts and your perception of money will also change ? .
Just because that's the way you see it now , as you become stronger I feel you may see it in a diferent light :))
Take care my friend , Alan
