Hi all,

Well I'm on my 80th day and have not gambled. To be honest it's been extremely difficult as I have been away for a month on annual holiday with time on my hands. Although I took precautions and left the bank card at home I still wished on some days that I had it.  To beat the boredom I've actually done a lot of writing lately which has opened up new doors perhaps.

I was hoping the urges to gamble would of subsided by now but that's not the case.

Life's just boring at the moment, I joined a gym and im trying to keep positive but it's been hard going. However I'm not prepared to waste the last 80 days of effort so I'm continuing. Leaving for home tomorrow and my life's going to be hectic with work when I get there, perhaps that's a good thing.

Bye for now.

Hi bb1705,

Firstly I would like to congratulate you on our 80 day journey especially with it including a large chunk of spare time. It is positive that you are connecting with both writing and fitness which should keep you both physically and mentally stimulated as you continue to move forward. Your new routine/interests may take a little time to bed in but it sounds like you are moving in a much healthier direction than the harmful cycle you were undoubtedly in 2/3 months ago.

Keep posting your updates so we know how you are getting on and don't hesitate to contact us 24/7 either on the netline or freephone: 0808 8020 133 if you feel you need more support at any time.

kind regards

Tom
