So glad to be back in the gym today after ages. Hopefully this is the kick start to my new healthy regime. Apart from the gym, I spent the day with dog walk, a bit of chores and course study. It's been a productive day. Another gamble free day to add up. Taking one day at a time. 212 days GF.

Did a lot of chores followed by a quick session in the gym. Looking forward to waking up at 4.30am...not!

Tickets booked for the girlfriend's grandma's 90th in Jan. It's so much convenient to look forward to special occasion like this since I've become gamble free.

Just to even think that every second and every step of life was occupied and controlled by this horrible addiction makes me sick to the core. As I'm slowly racking up gamble free days and slowly contributing towards the savings fund, it makes me happy to realise that there is so much in life than gambling.

Taking one day at a time. All guards in place. 219 days GF.

Thank you Annie.

Interesting last couple of days at work where everything's happening at the same time especially when you're so stretched due to short staff. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, eh? Anyway, it's all over now and I'm glad it's the weekend. Taking one day at a time.
222 days GF.

I went to sainsbury's for weekly food shopping over the weekend. After I finished shopping via smart shop I went to the kiosk to get my car park refund. As I was waiting in the queue and looking around, I happened to see the advert for the lottery super jackpot in near future. I would be lying if I said I wasn't tempted for a second then I thought why would I want to spoil all the hard work of last seven and a half months on a lottery ticket. Instead, I just had a little giggle inside and made my way home after obtaining the car park refund. As soon as I got home I told the missus how I felt when I saw the lottery advert in the supermarket. I'm not pleased that it turned my head for a second but equally happy that I could share it with the missus and take it lightly. I would have easily bought few lines of lucky dips had I still been gambling and would have hidden those tickets somewhere "safe."

Got my car's all four tyres replaced today. They don't come cheap these tyres but at least it's money well spent. Gamble free life has taught me to approach and live life in a simple/normal/respectful manner. Dog walk, chores, gym, cooking also done and dusted to keep my body and mind busy throughout the day. Taking one day at a time keeping all guards in place. 225 days GF.

Congrat's on the continued success Pras as 225 day's is no minor feat my friend and you should be proud , we all just for a moment get that ???????" Should I " thought pop into our head but with time those thought's dissappear as fast as they came and we snap out of it .

As someone on here once said " If we don't place the first bet the second won't follow " :)) .

Keep moving forward Buddy :)) .
