Blimey, you wait for the weekend all week and it goes in a blink of an eye! Spent pretty much whole day yesterday extending the patio in my brother's garden and cooking with the missus in the evening. Stayed home today studying course and doing some chores. So, yeah the weekend has gone super quick but it's been very productive. Working nights all of next week yay...not! I hope everyone has had a fantastic weekend and wishing everyone a productive week ahead. Taking one day at a time. 231 days GF.

Wow. You're absolutely smashing it. Keep it up. What an amazing new life you're creating for yourself. I hope one day I can get even just a glimpse of what you're seeing right now... Nice one pras.

Thank you for your kind words signalman means a lot. I too hope so and I'm sure with hard work and dedication you will achieve it.

Finished work in the morning then had a few hours of good sleep. Went to the gym in the evening. I was surprised how busy it was for a friday evening. Anyway, no gambling thoughts or urges. I hope everyone has a great weekend. Taking one day at a time. 236 days GF.

spent the day with food shopping, a run to the bank and phone shop. Had a gym session in the afternoon followed by a lovely dinner with the missus. Finished off the evening watching Joshua Povetkin boxing match. What a devastating knockout by Joshua! Would love to see him fight Tyson Fury next or even Wilder. Anyway, that's another day passed by without gambling. All guards in place. Taking one day at a time. 237 days GF.

Last night was a struggle to fall asleep meaning a very long 12 hour shift work. I reckon it's an early night for me then. Body and mind both tired no time to even think about gambling. Happy days. 239 days GF.

Hello Diary, it's been a while. I missed you. Few things have happened over the last week or so.

A guy at work asked me if I was interested in an activity that involves football betting. I firmly said no and I'd said no to him on a previous occasion. He was curious why I wasn't interested and I told that I'm a compulsive gambler. He understood. Let's hope he won't ask me again.

My uncle has been diagnosed with a cancer. I made a small donation towards his treatment. This would not have been possible if I was still gambling. Thanks to the savings I've built up over the last gamble free 8 months. I hope he gets well soon.

Other than the above, I've been doing the usual things like chores, dog walk, gym, study to keep myself busy and not distracted. Taking one day at a time. 249 days GF.

Hard to believe that I've managed to stay gamble free for 250 days! I'd raise a glass on this occasion but unfortunately I'm working nights all weekend. Someone else do the honour for me please lol. Here's to many more happy gamble free days! I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend. Keeping all guards in place and taking one day at a time. 250 days GF.

Thank you so much adam and sjw.

Went to the gym in the morning straight from work and slept like a baby through the day. No gambling urges or temptations even though I'm on a night shift. Long may it continue. Taking one day at a time. 251 days GF.

Watched Lewis Hamilton win the Japanese grand prix in the morning. Another flawless performance, led from the front from the beginning and looked never in doubt. Managed to catch a little bit of football before work. Missus ordered some shirt and shoes online for me. Glad to say that money is being spent wisely and not on gambling. One more shift tonight and then few days off. I hope everyone has had a fantastic weekend. Onwards and upwards. Taking one day at time. 252 days GF.
