Glad to reach home safe from tonight especially after it looked like it was never gonna stop snowing where I work. Fortunately, lot of snow has already melted in our area so don't have to worry about clearing snow in the morning. One of the guys at work showed me a picture his dad sent from their garden in linconshire. Sunny and not an ounce of snow I was like what the!! lol unbelievable. Anyway I hope everyone has a great weekend. Take care and be safe. 369 days GF.

I passed an assessment of my distant learning course today. Although I did pass it but I feel like I could have done better so I shall prepare better and allow myself plenty of time for the next assessment. Working day shifts this week so it's an early start for me tomorrow. Last week was a bit rough for me in terms of mood in general. It wasn't gambling related but it was just life in general I suppose. I felt frustrated and negative thoughts were going through my head. Fortunately, I talked to my girlfriend about what I was going through and how I was feeling. Sometimes all it takes is letting it off the chest and you need someone to listen to. I felt good and positive after having a chat with the missus. Perhaps my shifts of days and nights, pressure of succeeding in exams, depressing weather all combined to get me in a bad mood. On a positive note I didn't run to gambling to escape from it all. In fact it didn't even cross my mind. It's been a great start to the week. Another assessment ticked off and a bit of online retail therapy done through the other half. Let's stay positive and and let's have a smashing week ahead. 380 days GF.

Nice one mate. Congrats on passing your exam... You just keep striving for you goal and you'll get there mate.

Spot on about just talking things out sometimes... It works wonders. Keep going mate. You're doing really well. We are all allowed to have rough weeks - such is life I guess. What's great is the self-awareness you have re what factors may be affecting your mood.

Self-care and self-awareness are powerful tools in this gamble free life we are leading.

managed to get some chores done before i left for work earlier. I've got my gym gear in the car boot and determined to hot the gym in the morning straight after work. I was happy to smash 120 kgs deadlift on sunday and that's my PB. Not bad for someone who's always found an excuse not to do deadlift and sqauts lol. 387 days GF.

Congratulations to you on everything you are doing. Gamble free 388 days, working a lot of shifts, studying in your spare time, working out in the gym and spending quality time with the wife. You obviously have a lot of stamina plus you have plenty of drive and ambition.

Not gambling means you can now live a meaningful life and enjoy the challenges that come your way. Its amazing what we are capable of when not obsessed with gambling.

Take care my friend and keep doing what you are doing so well...Stephen

Thank you so much for kind words and your continuous support Stephen. Yes, I'm just making myself occupied with positive things and hoping to make something out of my life. Indeed we are capable of achieving so much when we are not trapped in this vicious circle. We need to ensure that we must never ever fall in that trap again. One more night and it's a long weekend for me woohoo. Taking one day at a time. 388 days GF.
