Thanks ALN really appreciate your support.

It's been a productive day cleared a lot of things we no longer use at home. The feeling you get from doing a good job is so sweet. Far better than being trapped in the vicious circle of gambling where you don't even know whether it's day or night. No time for complacency no time for a bet. Taking one day at a time. 412 days GF.

Took our dog to see the neurologist for a follow up appointment in the morning. She's showing a sign of improvement. Hopefully she'll fully recover in the next two weeks. Rest of the day gone by doing chores and relaxing a little. Busy day lovely day and I did not gamble today. 414 days GF.

I got a lovely surprise phone call today from someone I knew from my old GA place. It was nice talking about our current situation and catching up over last year. Apart from that long day at work. I did not gamble today and I'm happy. 415 days GF.

I hope your dog is doing well. It's tough when pets are poorly, you feel helpless. Thankfully you don't gamble and have the resources to take care of the situation properly. Good for you. Keep going mate.

Payday today and the money is safely utilised by the missus. In the past I couldn't wait till I got paid and blow it all within a matter of minutes if not hours. Getting paid at 2am and working nights have always been a perfect recipe for disaster for a complusive gambler like myself. I never learned anything from my same mistake until I said enough is enough and handed over the total control of my finances including access to my credit file to my girlfriend. That was the best thing I've ever done. Now every pay day I am totally relaxed and know that all the expenses are covered and we have little money to put aside in our savings. It helps us build a solid foundation for our bright future far far away from the all sorrows of gambling and bad habits that come along with it. Gone are the days of tempations and urges on payday. It's about celebrating life with your loved ones with your hard earned money in the right way. I am happy that I don't gamble anymore and even more happy that I don't go looking for an excuse to gamble. Before, I was consistently gambling and now I'm consistently making myself occupied with positive things that will always keep me away from gambling. The reason behind this is because as a complusive gambler I shall never let my guards down and get complacent. Taking one day at a time. 424 days GF.

Great posts. Your doing so well mate. It heartwarming and inspiring to read about such a great recovery. I'm always pleased when I see you've posted Pras, it's a good tonic for me to read how well youre going. You're certainly giving it all you got. Stay focused as you are and enjoy the good life you have created. Be the person you know you truly are and take care of the missus and your pets.

How's the study going?

Cheers Signalman for your kind words and continuous support. Yeah can't switch off or slack at any point must stay focused all the time. Being humble and showing no greed is great and the way it should be. Study is going ok I need to put more effort into it though coz I've got 2 assessments lined up next month 😮 Hope you're doing well my friend.
